The International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF) only teaches the genuine system of Krav Maga that was developed by Imi Sde-Or (Lichtenfeld). The system has been continually developed and updated by the Global Chief Instructor of the IKMF and closest assistant to Imi, Mr Eyal Yanilov.

Eyal Yanilov, provides continuous education of new instructors, government agencies, and special operation teams all over the world, as well being the head of the IKMF Global Instructor Team (G.I.T.) based in Israel.

The G.I.T. comprises specially selected, Expert level instructors with vast experience of teaching Krav Maga all over the world. The team is responsible for training civilian instructors, testing of all Krav Maga students and instructor grades, as well as teaching defensive tactics, hand-to-hand combat, self-defence and fighting skills - to all sectors of the Military and Law-Enforcement, VIP protection, S.W.A.T. and Intervention Teams, Anti-Terrorist Units, Air Marshals and Security Personnel. The G.I.T. provides on-going and in-service programs, establishment and control of training systems for the above units and qualification/continuation training of their in-house instructors.

The IKMF (UK) Director is Nick Maison (pictured left) with the Global Chief Instructor, Eyal Yanilov.

Nick is responsible for the organisation of courses and seminars within the UK and Republic of Ireland as well as organising all training and testing. He also deals with all representation regarding press or production relating to Krav Maga in the UK.
