Total Krav Maga Ltd is a new company born out of one of the longest running Krav Maga classes in the UK.  Nick Maison, also director of all IKMF Training in the UK has been involved with running of Krav Maga Classes in London & Thames Valley since 2003. He has helped to establish two of the largest IKMF clubs in London during this time.

Assisting Nick, are Niki Moringer and Tamas Herold. Both are high level Instructors who began their Krav Maga training in Budapest with their local branch of the IKMF before completing their instructor courses here in the UK.

As members of the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF), we are committed to teaching safe techniques in controlled environments.  All instructors are fully qualified, certified and insured to undertake the roles of IKMF and TKM instructors.

Nick has helped established the (Institute) Krav Maga UK Limited and the London Academy of Krav Maga, Prior to setting up Total Krav Maga Ltd. He is also the Director of Training for Krav Maga in the UK appointed by the Chief Instructor of the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF) from Israel. He is responsible for all IKMF activities in the UK and for the continual management, promotion and marketing of the system throughout the country.

Prior to Krav Maga, Nick spent 14 years in the British Army. On leaving as a Sergeant Instructor (SI) in the Army Physical Training Corps (APTC) which included 7 years of unarmed combat experience, Nick immediately participated in the Military Instructor Course, before taking the Civilian, SWAT and Air Marshall Courses.

Tamas started training in Krav Maga whilst living in his native country of Hungary in 2003 after qualifying as a Physical Education Teacher.

Tamas moved to the UK in November 2005 as a Practitioner level 2 Krav Maga student.

After several months of training with Nick, Tamas was selected for the potential instructor sponsorship scheme where he underwent accelerated training in order to prepare for the IKMF Instructors course which he successfully passed coming top of his course.

Prior to commencing Krav Maga, Tamas collected a wealth of experience in other martial arts and combat systems. He holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in Aikido and spent several months studying Shotokan Karate and the Filipino Arts of Kali and Eskrima.

Niki, like Tamas, began her Krav Maga training early in 2003. Following a dedicated and rigorous training schedule over 3 years, Niki set her goals on becoming an instructor.

Niki completed her instructor course in 2008 and is now one of only two fully qualified female instructors in the United Kingdom.

An asset to the club, Niki leads our ‘Fight like a Girl’ workshops where women are encouraged to learn Self Defence against male aggressors. Niki will also be setting up a “Krav 4 Kids” programme in the near future.
